I aspire ...

Go Zen. When I learned how to iron from our maid (sounds bad, I know), I liked doing it, so when I iron on the road, I go zen and clear the mind.

And, I always have issues with the dry cleaners losing shirts or ruining them. Doesn't matter the city or cleaner.
You know -- you're very right. It's a paradox. Relaxing and infuriating at the same time. I think it's very relaxing once I get in the groove ... but it takes so much to build up to getting around to actually doing it. And it's so tedious for a perfectionist like me, I end up spending hours doing it -- which is frustrating.

And you know ... you do bring up another good point. I'm rather terrified of taking my pants to the cleaners because they always screw them up. My creased pants ALWAYS get ruined! (End up with a double crease, which I LOATHE!) I thought shirts would be a pretty simple, standard thing ... guess not. Great, Jeremy. You've totally ruined that aspiration for me. ;-)
